Michigan State Championship!!!

Out of over 400 Michigan teams, only 103 qualified for the State Championship competition in Grand Rapids. We were excited to be one of those teams!
A few more improvements to our robot, one being a stronger climbing arm and a determined attitude had us ready to compete! For most of our team this was a first experience competing at this level, so it was quite the exciting weekend competing with the best teams in Michigan! 

We fought hard and ended up 46th after all qualification matches.  During the alliance picks we were chosen to go on further into the playoffs by the number 1 seed!!  Big thanks to our alliance partners - Team 2767 Stryke Force and Team 33 The Killer Bees.

Sadly, our alliance lost in the octofinals. Feeling a little defeated, yet proud of our accomplishments this season, our spirits were lifted once more as we found out we qualified as one of the 79 teams Michigan was sending to the FRC World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri!!! 

A major accomplishment for our team!  Go Chimeras!
