The 2014 FIRST Robotics season was a lot more challenging than previous years, mainly for the fact that it required a much larger amount of teamwork and cooperation than a lot of the other competitions. In addition, coordinating three teams to work together can be quite the task on its own, but it is only all the more difficult when each team has little to no experience with the other teams, and each team has their own ideas and strategies for completing the objective. As such, we designed our 2014 robot to handle a wide variety of gameplay mechanics and tasks so that we could deliver outstanding performance in any competition role that was required of us. From its monstrous 12-wheeled drive-train to its dual-facing intake system and thunderous kicking wedge right on down to its ability to change its front/back orientation, our robot was designed with power, precision, and personality in mind.
