The FRC challenge of 2011 was to gather inflatable tubes in the shape of a triangle, a square, and a circle and place them on pegs, there were three sets and each set was placed at differing heights,  to form the FRC logo, hence the name "LogoMotion." This years FRC represents two challenges; to accurately and effectively grab the game pieces (the tubes) and raise the game pieces vertically so the game pieces can be placed onto the pegs. To overcome these challenges we designed our robot with a claw, hence its name "The Claw," that would grab the tubes and we mounted that claw onto a plate which we designed to elevate upward or downward to change the affective range that our claw had at grabbing tubes and placing tubes onto the pegs. Our solution to the 2011 FRC challenge was a simple one, but effective.
